TOPIC: Fiduciary Duties of Insurance Intermediaries
Please welcome Adam Bunge of Karbal, Cohen, Economou, Silk and Dunne (KCESD) LLC law firm as our speaker for the April 8, 2019 meeting/class.
The OBJECTIVE of this class is to educate participants on the fiduciary role agents have to their clients, duties to insurers, conflicts that can arise as the intermediary and financial duties.
Insureds hold legal and ethical relationships of trust with their licensed insurance agent. There is a fiduciary responsibility in the transfer of money and assets for items such as premium payments and premium financing. In this one hour session, participants will learn more about their duties and responsibilities and how to manage the process.
